The Xbox Series X is a technical masterpiece miles ahead of its predecessor, the Xbox One. With the power to deliver 4K gaming and the potential to run games at a whopping 120 frames per second, the Xbox Series X is a force to be reckoned with. Though performance may vary from game to game, Microsoft has truly outdone itself with this epic console. The series X can handle Starfield at 60 fps no problem. It is the Series S holding it back. The Series S has been an issue for game developers for a while with it’s weaker hardware. Microsoft keeps trying to hid it because it would hurt Series S sales. Microsoft is FORCING parity if you want your game on their xbox platform. Yes it would but you wouldn't be able to play games at 120 fps. (2.0 can do 120hz, but on 1080p or 1440p im not sure.) Can confirm it can be done at 1440p, at least on the 2020 TCL 6 Series. HDMI 2.0 you can do 4K 60hz. Some TVs will allow 1440p 120hz and 1080p 120hz as well. But 4K 60hz is max. I would like too play through it again at 4k/60 since I got my new console, but cannot find anywhere if it actually achieves this framerate. Thanks. Archived post. Wolfenstein 2 is pretty great on XBSX. It runs at a native 4K and holds 60 the whole time. 7. YouSoStupidBro. • 3 yr. ago. Well, I definitely noticed a huge difference playing Warzone. There aren't really any games out right now that utilize the series x's full capabilities. The Series S is fantastic if you're a casual gamer or as a second console, but if your primary motive is 60/120FPS, I would just get the SX. Some games don't offer performance mode on the Series S, some games run at a much lower resolution (720-1080P) when at 60. Most games only run at 1440-1600P at 30FPS. IIRC, 120FPS can drop down to 540P on The monitor will display what it can, but the fact that the console is putting out frames faster than the monitor can take them means that when it does grab a new frame, it'll be the most up to date frame possible. A 120fps output on a 75hz monitor will look better and have less input lag than a 75fps output on the same monitor. 16. [deleted Watch on an HDR compatible device or screen if you can! With our early Xbox Series X preview, we wanted to show as many games as we can running on the system kkesDTX.
